DR. MARGO LEDERHANDLER
Margo Lederhandler, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist with advanced fellowship training in cosmetic dermatology, lasers, and Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer. She is passionate about using her specialized training, and the latest cosmetic and medical techniques and treatments, to achieve each patient’s unique dermatologic goals.
Dr. Lederhandler graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and then attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, where she was inducted into the national Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society.
She completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she was awarded “Intern of the Year,” and completed her dermatology residency at NYU Langone, where she had the honor of being selected as Chief Resident.

She completed a prestigious dual-fellowship program accredited by the ACGME, ACMS, and ASDS in Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery, cosmetic dermatologic surgery, and laser surgery under the direction of Dr. Roy G. Geronemus at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York.

Dr. Lederhandler is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medicine, where she trains the residents in advanced dermatologic surgery. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser, Medicine & Surgery. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters and regularly presents her research at national conferences on dermatology and dermatologic surgery.

Dr. Lederhandler enjoys treating patients of all ages and provides expert care in all aspects of general medical dermatology, including full body examinations, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.
With cosmetic rejuvenation, Dr. Lederhandler works with each patient to provide a personalized plan, taking into account individual preferences and anatomy, in order to achieve a natural result. She lives in Westchester with her husband and three children.
